During the "May Day" holiday, CR-Kunming sent 2.165 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 5.7%. Among them, on May 1, 526,000 passengers were sent, setting a new record for daily passenger traffic. On the same day, a total of 1,038 cross-border passengers were processed at the Mohan Port of the China-Laos Railway, a 165% increase year on year, reaching a record high since the operation of international passenger trains on the China-Laos Railway.

　　In May, various regions of Yunnan were adorned with blooming mountain flowers, attracting numerous tourists for sightseeing. CR-Kunming made early arrangements for transportation capacity and optimized passenger train operation plans, to ensure transportation service guarantees. During peak passenger flow periods, they operated 471 passenger trains in a single day, an increase of 100 trains compared to normal days, along with measures such as coupling multiple units to meet demand.

　　Since the establishment of the "Mobile Coffee Shop" themed "Coffee Journey, Witnessing China-Laos" on the international passenger trains of the China-Laos Railway on April 13, "railway + coffee" has become a new favorite for passengers. During the "May Day" holiday, the sales volume of coffee in the "Mobile Coffee Shop" reached nearly 4,000 cups, with record-breaking sales of over 700 cups on May 4 since its inception.
