For over a year, the increasing number of passengers traveling through the China-Laos Railway has facilitated the exchange of passengers, logistics, and information along the railway. People inbound and outbound via the China-Laos Railway can directly reach 38 countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and West Asia, and the goods inbound and outbound are delivered to 12 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, such as Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam. The cross-border passenger service of the China-Laos Railway is achieving its goal of “pursuing smooth, pursuing fast, pursuing high-quality,” injecting new momentum for the connectivity and high-quality development of the International Golden Corridor.
